Too Cool: Batwomen gets her own book after having come out

So I don't follow comics anymore and am a tad late on part of this story. Sue me. But this is Too Cool to miss: Batwoman, who has been an out lesbian since 2006, is getting the starring role in her own series. The Times says this is the first release by a major American comic publisher with a lesbian or gay character in the title role.

I don't suppose comics are as cheap as they used to be?
