As you may have noticed, I've been very quiet of late. This is, in part, because I have started a new assignment, writing for the On Faith section of Newsweek/The Washington Post online.
Each week the panelists are asked to address a question. This week the topic was gay clergy and gay marriage. I thought many here might be interested in a progressive, humane reading of the Qur'an and hadith (narrations about the Prophet as related by his companions.)
