Gay rights passes in Sarah Palin's backyard, but will it stick?

The Anchorage city assembly has voted to make it illegal in the city to discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation, but the vote fell one short of the super majority needed to overturn a possible veto by the mayor. So far, the mayor won't say what he plans to do.
