As Sarah Turns: The Palin soap opera continues

Some claim Sarah Palin -- the now out-going governor of Alaska -- is quitting her post to concentrate on running for president, but I don't see it. At the very least, she looks flaky to not even complete one term as governor. Wouldn't she be better served by showing how great she is as a chief executive? What is really going on here, or am I just too politically naive? Also, what a strange time to make this announcement if she wants to increase her political profile. Most folks have already started their 4th of July holiday. This is take-out-the-garbage time, not throw-your-hat-in-the-ring time.

Curiouser and curiouser.

More information on “grassroots” supporters gathering across the nation to support Sarah Palin for President in 2012 can be found online at www.palin4pres2012.com

Note, the website is in danger of crashing due to the flood of readers and supporters signing up to show their interest in a Palin Candidacy. The GOP establishment had better watch out, Sarah Palin and Ron Paul combined with the power of the internet will remove the stranglehold of GOP special interests and the elites who have brought the party to its knees in defeat in the 2008 elections.

This comment is a fascinating bit of viral marketing. I say that because I meant my posting to be a slam on Sarah Palin. By resigning before the end of her term, she shows not only a large bit of flakiness, but a real disregard for the people who elected her to office. This isn't the behavior of someone who would be a good president.

The reasons of Palin resignation are controversial. What could be the real cause of her decision? Vote on the most possible one - http://www.votetheday.com/america/palin-resignation-424/
