I have no idea what this means, but James Bush, the Southern Baptist minister running for the local City Commission has just announced that he is resigning from his church in another two weeks.
Very odd. It's particularly strange for him to leave his church now.
Was he pressured out? Had he failed to get his church's OK to run for office? Did he decide he wanted the life of a politician and not a minister? Or is the answer "d," none of the above?
I still wouldn't vote for him, though.
