Kansas: Rep. Nancy Boyda apologizes for remarks, but she still seems unaware of her options

By Diane Silver

Calling her remarks to ABC's Charles Gibson "first-week jitters," Rep. Nancy Boyda held a teleconference call with reporters yesterday where she apologized for her statements about Iraq.

However, Boyda said she would still vote to fund a troop escalation in Iraq. She also failed to mention that legal experts say Congress has a series of options they can use to stop President George W. Bush.

In This Moment's earlier coverage of Boyda's statements can be found here and here and here.
