Kansans: Save February 22 to lobby the Legislature for fair laws for all

By Diane Silver

The Kansas Equality Coalition will be holding its first lobby day at the Statehouse in Topeka on Feb. 22.

All fair minded Kansans are welcome to join the event. The coalition has reserved the south steps and first floor of the Statehouse for a rally, lobby day, and table exhibit.

"All KEC chapters and several of our allies will have tables, and will be available to talk to legislators about the Kansas Acts Against Discrimination, and why passage of these protections is about fairness for all Kansans," said Tom Witt, chair of the coalition.

I'll be there. Will you?
