A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words: TV networks slant Republican
Ever hear the old claim that the news media are in the pocket of liberal Democrats? Well apparently not ... at least not in every election from 1992 to 2004. That's the word from a new Indiana University study that analyzed coverage on ABC, NBC and CBS.

My. Sounds like the Republican screaming about bias really worked -- it scared the tv networks into bias!
It seems to me these days that every time Pres. Obama proposes a program, NPR immediately lets a Republican attack it. This seems like false balance to me, especially since the Republicans are just offering obstructionist nonsense and hollering for more absurd tax cuts. Surely there are some analysts out there who could offer some valuable criticisms of what the President is doing, if they want critique. And why not interview a few people who aren't part of the administration but support the plan?
