When people begin to see that their own institutions have engaged in evil acts, then it's time, as Andrew Sullivan says, to know hope.* Robert Bernstein writes about the rebellion of some within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This rebellion may be small, but change often starts in the tiniest ways.

*I love the way Sullivan uses the term "know hope" when he blogs about changes in perception and politics. I thought for a time to come up with my own catchy phrase, but there is none better then this one. And so, I am shamelessly stealing it from him.
