Doing the right thing: The first photo from the governor's signing ceremony

After Gov. Kathleen Sebelius signed the anti-discrimination order yesterday and while we were all still clapping, Kansas Equality Coalition statewide Chair Tom Witt, left, asked Sebelius for the pen. He went home with the Sharpie in his pocket and intends to give it a place of honor in his office.

This photo only shows a few of the folks who attended the signing. To the right of the governor is Cora Holt, a state employee from Manhattan. Immediately to her left, you can see a tiny part of Dennis Dobson's head. He works for the Department of Health and Environment.

The photo was taken by Cathy Jambrosic of the Johnson County Chapter of the Kansas Equality Coalition.
