Kansas: One Hundred Good Women brings film festival to Lawrence

Lunafest -- a national film festival by, for and about women -- is coming to Lawrence on Sunday thanks to One Hundred Good Women.

According to their material the "diverse films embody the unique, humorous, touching, and inspirational roles of women in a variety of settings and countries."

The entire festival lineup will be presented twice on Sunday, March 4, 2007 at Liberty Hall, 642 Massachusetts Street. The showings are at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are priced at $10 and $8 for seniors and students.

One Hundred Good Women and its Women Speak group are working with Luna, the Luna Bar folks, to bring the festival. The proceeds go to charity.
