Charlie Cook bets on Hillary Clinton & forecasts trouble for John McCain

Despite Obama Mania, Sen. Hillary Clinton is still the frontrunner in the race for the Democratic nomination for president, says political journalist Charlie Cook.

Appearing last night at the Dole Institute at the University of Kansas, Cook also said he expects Sen. John McCain to face troubling questions about his age. If elected, McCain would be the oldest president ever sworn in.

Alas, I wasn't able to attend last night, but the Lawrence Journal-World has a good report. Cook is publisher of the Cook Political Report, a nonpartisan newsletter.
