Looking Back At 2005

Nation columnist Katha Pollitt counts the good things that came out of 2005.

Among them:
1. The Bush Administration is on the defensive.

2. The Republican Party is mired in corruption and cronyism.

3. The media are waking up.

4. The Christian Taliban is going too far.

5. Civil liberties are making a comeback.

6. The world is becoming more gay-friendly.
And, the very good news that The Women's Review of Books is publishing again. Wahoo!
