Anti-evolution preachers speak for only a narrow branch of Christianity

Red State Rabble has a great post today on the impact of Evolution Sunday and the religious backlash against the ministers who claim that evolution is anti-Christian.

[W]e have two significant indications that the bible beaters, despite their claims to the contrary, speak only for a narrow subset of religious believers.

Among other things, RSR reports that more than 10,000 members of the clergy have already signed a statement affirming that evolution is not incompatible with the Bible.
