Kansas Legislature Watch resource list

It’s time to pay attention to what is happening in beautiful, downtown Topeka, Kansas. Here are some resources to help you watch the Kansas Legislature. And, here’s why that’s important to Kansans, other folks in the United States, and even those of you who don’t live in our wild and crazy country.

* Find your senator and representative
* Find the status of bills
* Listen in to live floor debate
* Find out what the good old boys and girls under the Statehouse dome are doing today

The one thing you can’t do is to listen in live to committee proceedings, which of course, is where most of the work happens. However, it’s still a good and useful site and should be bookmarked by all Kansans and anyone who cares about red state politics.

Find out who has bought whom by checking out the campaign finance reports filed with the Kansas Governmental Ethics Commission. For the first time, all the reports are online at this site.
