Is it because I think people are foolish if they think they're protecting themselves by simply buying a gun or because I'm neutral on the Second Amendment fight? Or maybe it's because I express my personal opinions, but after all, that's why I blog. I try to bring facts to everyone's attention -- I've linked to the DC Circuit's opinion so you can read the original material and make your own decision -- but I'm always going to tell you what I think.
And as a matter of fact, I've done some target shooting and hope to do more. Guns are good tools. But guns in the hands of people who don't know how to use them -- or in the hands of those who want to be some kind of superhero or super bad guy -- are damn dangerous.
It's interesting, Susan, that you are so focused on supporting guns that you didn't notice that I said I had problems with prohibiting them. I suspect we agree more than you give me credit for.Nancy Jane Moorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01030267999537291250noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28633811.post-45528476282545353002007-03-30T22:47:00.000-05:002007-03-30T22:47:00.000-05:00Nancy Jane Moore says:"But I also have qualms abou...Nancy Jane Moore says:
"But I also have qualms about laws that prohibit something that people want -- EVEN IF THEY"RE FOOLISH FOR WANTING IT--"

You, Nancy dear, are part of the problem. Every controversial subject is initiated by someone who decides, or criticizes, what other people should have and not have. Your stuff would be better received if you kept related personal views off the tube.
Last, just food for thought. Have you ever considered a visit to a firing range? They'll help you get started. Might you have a little fun trying to put all the bullets in the little black circle? It's a lot like bowling, but a lot easier, and a whole lot faster.
Sarahsarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13302248760657130775noreply@blogger.com
